ATP Project #218 – Autism: Understanding the Spectrum

Chances are that you know someone who may have a child with autism, a family member, or you yourself may be a caregiver to someone with an autism diagnosis.  It’s becoming more common and a worrying trend, with governments and health authorities slow to act on probable causes.

The stress this puts on relationships and well-being of carers is hard to understand unless you have walked in their shoes.  Many parents are told it is genetic and there’s nothing they can do.

Is this the case?  Should we give up hope?

In today’s podcast, Steve, Matt and Elizma talk about the very important topic of Autism.   We cover off on diet and environmental influences that could possibly contribute to the symptoms in Autism and also look at a case study.
